Moonglow Guest House offers guests bed and breakfast accommodation in Glencairn, Simon's Town, Cape Town. Moonglow bed and breakfast is situated on the slopes of the Simon's Town Mountains overlooking False Bay with spectacular 180' views across False Bay to the Hottentot Holland Mountain range in the distance. Sit on the deck and watch the whales or read a book and enjoy the views especially at night when the moon rises in the distance and makes a path of light across the bay. Bed and breakfast accommodation comprises of are 6 appointed en-suite bedrooms all with sea views. 4 rooms have queen beds and all rooms have percale linen with hand embroidered duvet covers. Rooms have TV, Fridge, Hairdryer, Tea and coffee tray prepared each evening. Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.30am and includes Fresh Fruit, stewed fruit, fruit juice, cereals, cold meat platter, muffins and bacon, eggs, tomato and mushrooms with either tea or freshly made filter coffee. Simon's Town is the naval base of South Africa so there is plenty of naval activity in the bay. There are activities such as kayaking in the bay or taking a boat trip to Seal Island and maybe see a Great White shark or two. The Penguin Colony at Boulder's Beach is close by. Cape Point is 20kms away along a very scenic route.

Glencairn is a small but beautiful town between Fish Hoek and Simons Town and is a popular holiday destinations for relaxation and beach goers.

Attractions
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony is one of Cape Towns most popular beaches. Boulders Beach Penguin Colony was established in 1983 when a pair of penguins chose this Boulders Beach to lay their eggs. Locals and visitors are attracted to Boulders Beach Penquin Colony to see the penguins and the granite boulders that line the coast. Another enjoyable day out while visiting Glencairn is the Noordhoek Farm Village which in incredibly charming and relaxing for the whole family. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee and freshly baked bread and enjoy the Cape wines and the local artwork displayed. While visiting Glencairn you must take a trip to the well known Cape Point Nature Reserve which is well known for the gale force winds and was thus named the Cape of Storms. Here you can visit the Cape Point Lighthouse or just enjoy some time on the pristine beaches.

The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving.
The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
